Autograph letter signed : Denmark Hill, to her mother and George, 1848 Apr. 28.

Published pp. 101-102, with three omissions: (1) inspecting all her things will keep her so busy that she sends one letter to them both. She is glad George saw so much of Lizzie and her family as he has so little to interest him in the people of Perth; (2) unpacking has left her very tired. Thanks for all things mother sent; (3) thanks for the money toward payment of bill. May Bolding has given them a handsome present--fish knife and fork, and teaspoons. She will see her mother as soon as possible. She was surprised and John much pleased by the compliments from Lord C[ockburn?] and Sir J. Richardson.

1 item (8 p.) ; 17.2 cm. + with envelope.
